I brought my BMW 1 series 2008 into MBM Autohaus with the AA and they suspected it was a petrol flood in the engine. As soon as I got there the technicians and office staff weren’t too sure that it would be a flood as it is very uncommon. Within a day they had diagnosed it fully and were able to tell the problem (even though my car was a non-runner) and had said it was a timing kit replacement. They ordered the parts from the dealers and £575 is a competitive price. They even gave me a Petrol Injection Cleaner for my injectors free of charge for my wait. I now have full trust in these guys, but hopefully I won’t see them too soon haha.

I recently attempted to purchase a BMW M3 from a local retailer in Birmingham and after doing my research I found MBM AUTOHAUS. I spoke with Zahir on several times on the phone. Nothing was too much trouble in terms of asking questions etc. I didn’t eventually have the check because the retailer let me down. I was given a full refund the following day. Sincerely AVOID!!! Worst garage i have been to. Asked for a major service, £449, which will include a spark plug... replacement. However they did not even do it! See pics for their 'new spark plugs'. BTW, highly recommended MotorServ-UK at Solihull.read more

Went in for a service on the weekend. Gave my key in standard stuff, when I booked the service I thought they would... call me when the cars ready which is standard. Something you'd expect with a professional looking business like MBM. They did not call. I had to call them up. This is when, presumably the owner started shouting about how they close at 1. If this was the case wouldn't you call the customer up? Especially if the car was ready? They took the payment over the phone while I was giving my card details the person was repeating it loudly back to me. Its common sense not to repeat someones card details out loud. Not very professional. On top of that they left my key with some cowboys next door. If they called to say the car was ready there wouldn't have been a problem. I would have picked it up while they was open. Also they left the car in gear which is fine put failed to use the handbrake. As soon as you turn the electrics on some bmws the gear wont hold. It started rolling back. Luckily there was no wall behind me. All in all they charge the money, to be honest a reasonable price, the service is just shockingly bad. I just expected to be dealt with in a more professional manner.I would advise everyone to avoid this place.read more

My BMW’s hand break stopped working and after browsing the internet and reading the reviews for MBM AUTOHAUS I decides... to book my car in for a check up.I have to say MBM AUTOHAUS presented them selves in a professional manner. After dropping my car off early morning I was told they will give me a call once they know what needed fixing. Few hours later I received a phone call telling me that they need to order parts from BMW and that the car would be ready the next day.MBM never called me the next day and I had to chase them up myself. I was then told that the parts had just arrived and the car will be ready later that day.I waited 3 hours and the shop was closing soon, yet no call or update. So I called them again.. to be told that the person I spoke to earlier gave me the wrong information and my car will not be ready for another day. This led to me having to cancel meetings with my clients.I made an official complaint to the manager - Mr. Marinda and he reassured me that he would get to the bottom of this and get back to me.2 weeks later and still nothing. For a company that presents itself in a very professional manner I was very disappointed with the way they treated their customers. I’m sure the garage side of things is great however if you’re looking for good customer care I would chose someone else.read more

I've been using MBM for over two years since my BMW service pack expired. Top class service every time, multiple... updates whenever significant work needs to be carried out. Also saved me over £1,000 after another garage had advised me that I needed a new oil pump, I opted instead to get towed to MBM who did thorough diagnostics, investigation and then presented me with their recommendation. Worst place every, went in with one problem they never solved but still wanted to charge Damaged my car and did not... take responsibility would not recommend to anyone, I have all my proof that they damaged my car and now am going through trading standards to recover cost of damage, the guy did not want to take responsibility and kept telling me stories instead.... weird fella anyway try will get fined as well as paying for damagesread more

Excellent BMW specialists and by far the best service I have received with engineers who know what they are doing and... can spot a problem straight away and know exactly what to do to fix it which is very rare these days. Outstanding service as per usual, had an issue with our BMW cabrio where the boot would not close properly meaning the... roof would not operate.
